The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN) has officially received its requested units of ambulance from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), infront of the Provincial Capitol Building, Laoag City, today.

Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc, along with the heads of hospitals in the province who are recipients of the donation, witnessed the arrival of the first two out of four patient transport vehicles pledged by the PCSO.

These units will be primarily used as additional transport services of hospitals in addressing Coronavirus-related concerns.

Yung next two ambulances ay parating na rin so we really thank our friends from PCSO,” Gov. Marcos Manotoc expressed.

“Our two units were given to the municipalities of Piddig and Vintar, while the recipients of the two remaining ambulance hasn’t been identified yet by the Provincial Government,” Gov. Marcos Manotoc added.

In 2017, PCSO also donated six ambulances to Ilocos Norte, along with the province of Ilocos Sur and Abra.
